Delta Rae pens protest song in response to Charleston events

The band was, quite understandably, horrified by the events in Charleston, SC on Wednesday night, especially as it hit quite close to home for them, based in Durham, NC. So they wrote and recorded this protest song, “All Good People,” as a means to express their “outrage, sadness, and insistence that things must change.”

Delta Rae writes:

“Our hearts and prayers are with the families of those killed in Charleston, SC last night. These tragedies have got to STOP…It’s time to push our leaders to act. All good people must raise their voices. We need to protect every member of our community from hate and racism. And we need to stop so much of this violence by limiting access to guns…This is not the country we want to be. These actions do not represent our values.”

Please listen to and share the song, an addition to the ongoing conversation.
